Terms and Conditions

By booking a lesson with Twinn Peaks you agree to fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice.

Safety:

All of the Twinn Peaks instructors are fully qualified french “diplômés d’Etat” instructors.

The services offered take place in a random mountain environment, it is up to the participant to respect the instructions of the ski instructor for safety reasons. The instructor’s responsibility is limited to an obligation of means. Participants are solely responsible for the choice of their equipment as well as in the event of theft, breakage or damage. Twinn Peaks instructors are in no way responsible for any problem that arises with the ski equipment. Twinn Peaks instructors cannot be held responsible for accidents caused by participants during, before and after the service.

You will provide us with all information requested, including but not limited to; child health form, skier’s age, skier’s ability level, details of any medical problems, learning difficulties or special requirements and full contact details, to ensure we can deliver a high quality lesson in a safe manner. Any information collected by us will be used in line with our Privacy Policy.

Children aged 17 or under must wear a helmet at all times whilst skiing or boarding in one of our lessons.

Any problems experienced within a lesson should be reported as soon as reasonably practicable, in the first instance, to the ski teacher taking the lesson and thereafter to the office, in resort.

During your lessons Twinn Peaks Instructors may take photos of clients and children under the age of 18 skiing and boarding. Our instructors also use photography and videos in order to give feedback and instruction. We may use the images or footage for marketing purposes, if you do not wish us to use imagery or footage of you or your children please inform us at the time of booking.

Bookings and Refunds:

Payment in full is required at the time of pre-booking to secure a reservation (unless otherwise arranged).

In the event a deposit has been taken to secure a reservation, the remainder of the balance must be paid a minimum of 25 days prior to the commencement of the lessons. We reserve the right to amend this deadline in the event we receive an enquiry from another client that clashes with your reservation. In this event we will make contact with you to obtain the remainder of the payment. If payment is not made then we have the right to re-sell your reservation, any deposit paid will be refunded in line with our standard refund terms and conditions.

In the event of cancellation reimbursement will be calculated as a percentage of the total cost of all lessons booked, as follows:

  • Cancellation 25 days or more prior to the commencement of the first lesson: 100%
  • Cancellation 14– 25 days prior to the commencement of the first lesson: 75%
  • Less than 14 days prior to the commencement of the first lesson: 25%

We cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to; bad weather and piste or lift closures. If a lesson must be cancelled due to these circumstances, it is not our policy to offer a refund. Please ensure you have adequate insurance cover in place to protect you against such circumstances.

If you are unable to attend a lesson, which has been booked and paid for, due to ill health, injury or any other valid reason, no refund will be given (unless it is linked to COVID-19 and explicitly covered within our cancellation policy detailed above). Upon request we will provide a letter confirming your absence to aid you in your claim with your personal winter sports insurance provider.

In the event that you sign up for the wrong group level, you may be required to move to a group more adapted to your ability.
If there are no other groups available, you will be refunded for the remaining lessons and you booking cancelled.

COVID-19:

Flexibility is provided in the event lessons are cancelled due to COVID-19. If you’re unable to take your lessons due to any of the reasons below, you will receive a full refund for your booking:

  • In the event we have to cancel your lessons.
  • If the resort is closed due to COVID-19.
  • If the border to France is closed and you cannot enter the country.
  • If the border of your home country is closed and you cannot leave the country, or re-enter after your holiday.
  • In the event you need to cancel, to receive a full refund, the booking must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the start of the lesson.
